Quiko Rusk is a specially baked, high-quality wheat that is particularly suitable for keeping the rearing feed fresh and moist due to its absorbency. It ensures a balanced diet and stimulates the birds’ appetite. At the same time, it improves the structure of the egg food so that the birds can eat all of the food provided. It is also ideal for evenly mixing additives such as medicines and colorants into the rearing feed if required.
If the birds are offered a wider range of feed additives, feeding behavior improves significantly. The young birds are fed more often and their appetite increases noticeably. We therefore recommend regularly alternating feed supplements such as Quiko Rusk, boiled egg, fresh fruit and vegetables or sprouted food.
Add 1 part rusk to 1 part water (1 part = 1 cup). Leave Quiko Rusk to infuse for approx. 3 – 5 minutes until it has absorbed the water. Add the moist Rusk to the egg food: 4 parts egg food to 1 part Rusk. Stir in the mixture evenly and feed it with the conventional food. You can freeze larger quantities for up to a week. Store in a cool, dry place.
