Completely water-soluble calcium and with a high vitamin D3 content, specially formulated for use in birds with suspected calcium deficiency or during breeding. The new formula CALCI-BOOST HiD3 lasts 8 times longer than the old product and requires only 2.5 ml (previously 20 ml) per 2 liters of drinking water. Calcium is the most important mineral that birds need. The hen needs a larger amount for egg formation and chicks need calcium for skeletal growth. Calcium deficiency is still one of the biggest problems in bird species, as the lack of usable calcium affects egg laying and binding, hens that cannot lay or brood, and chicks with broken bones.
