Administering Boost X5 before the flight helps to prevent muscle loss during the flight. Boost X5 gives more strength and endurance and thus contributes to a successful flight. Pigeons consume a lot of energy during the flight. Thanks to its unique composition, Boost X5 ensures that the energy gained is efficiently stored (effect of L-glutamine) and released again as soon as necessary (effect of L-carnitine). During the flight, the pigeon has to push itself to its limits and its glucose, glycogen and fat reserves are depleted, causing it to use its own muscle tissue to meet its energy requirements. Due to the presence of BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) in Boost X5, the pigeon can use these amino acids as an energy source in emergency situations. In this way, Boost X5 prevents the pigeon from breaking down its own muscle mass. The rice bran (a source of gamma-oryzanol) in Boost X5 helps to prevent muscle breakdown when reserves are insufficient. In addition, gamma-oryzanol provides more strength and an increase in muscle mass. The addition of Siberian ginseng has a performance and endurance-enhancing effect.
