Re-Scha Poly-min 2300g
Supplementary feed for racing pigeons
Poly-min contains minerals that pigeons need every day for their metabolism. Poly-min is particularly rich in finely ground fossil oyster shells. These are known for the fact that, in contrast to ground limestone, the calcium dissolves with a delay. This has the advantage that the pigeon receives an even supply of calcium. Tests have shown that fossil oyster shells have a positive effect on animal health, well-being and performance as a delayed-dissolving source of calcium.
Algae lime is another enrichment in Poly-min. The trace elements it contains are particularly rich and readily biologically available.
Calcium gluconate, a high-quality source of calcium, is also added to the Poly-min.
Poly-min contains betaine as a special feature. It is a natural product from sugar beet. Betaine is both a supplier of methyl groups and an energy booster. Betaine develops osmoregulatory effects in the intestine and stabilizes it at the same time. Betaine is also known to support coccidia prophylaxis.
Poly-min has been shown to prevent rickets and eggshell deformities.
Directions for use: 100 mg (e.g. budgerigar) 500 mg (pigeon) per animal per day sprinkled over the feed or offered in the nose bowl. 1 level measuring spoon (= 5g Poly-min) for 10 pigeons per day.
This mineral feed may only be fed to racing pigeons up to 10 % of the daily ration due to the higher content of vitamin A, vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
