Supplementary feed for pigeons Modern drinking water disinfection – the revolution in pigeon racing! Why is drinking water hygiene so important for humans and animals (racing pigeons)? The digestive tract is by far the largest entry point for all kinds of germs. Clean and uncontaminated drinking water for humans and animals is the basic prerequisite for health and well-being. Life-threatening problems caused by contaminated drinking water, such as natural disasters, occur time and again. Deadly diseases such as e-coli, cholera and other infections are often the result of contaminated drinking water in these situations. Everyone is aware of the importance of hygienically safe drinking water. More attention should be paid to drinking water in racing pigeon racing. What is RopAdeno®? RopAdeno® is a new electrolysis-treated water with special properties. This special technology, which is then used to treat this water with an electric current, produces, among other things, hyperchloric acid, one of the strongest disinfectants that is also the best tolerated by a living organism. It is only because of this excellent compatibility that RopAdeno® can be added to drinking water. However, RopAdeno® is many times more effective than hyperchlorous acid alone and, with its almost neutral pH value, it is not corrosive. Some of the electrically added energy is retained in the molecules and substances, which want to discharge themselves back into equilibrium in the normal environment. RopAdeno® is the first product to store this high energy charge in a bottle for a longer period of time and it can also be demonstrably measured as redox potential. The process of disinfecting water by electrolysis is not new. Until now, however, the charge was simply neutralized again after a short time, sometimes after just a few hours, meaning that it was no longer effective against bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores. What is new is that with RopAdeno® it has been possible for the first time to produce a stable product that is effective over a long period of time and thus to offer the market a truly marketable product. This new process is based on several patents. Why does RopAdeno® work? When the positively charged RopAdeno® comes into contact with microorganisms as a cocktail of electrical charge and hyperchlorous acid, it wants to use the negatively charged molecules in their cells to rebalance themselves. It also attacks components in the cell wall, making it permeable. The attraction (magnetism) of the negative cell contents through the attacked cell wall destroys it and mechanically kills the bacteria “in a flash”. This makes it impossible for resistance to develop.
RopAdeno® is effective against all bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores within a very short time. RopAdeno® also dissolves the biofilm in the water troughs, in which pathogens can also settle.

Once you have had a pathogen in the water pipes, even clean drinking water can be immediately contaminated again by the pathogens in the biofilm of a water pipe. Incidentally, this problem of pathogens settling in the water pipes can occur anywhere. This is also likely to be a major problem with racing pigeon transport vehicles. Legislation allows a 3% addition (30 ml/1 liter) of RopAdeno® to drinking water and classifies this as absolutely safe for humans and animals. This dosage provides reliable protection against the transmission of diseases through drinking water. The intestinal flora is preserved and the animals are bursting with health because they are protected against and freed from unwanted germs.
A higher dosage would also be possible in the short term in the acute course of young animal disease. In practice, however, a daily dosage of just 10 – 15 ml to 1 liter of drinking water has already shown that breeders who have been afflicted by young animal disease every year have not experienced an outbreak for the first time. Many of these breeders were even able to completely avoid the use of antibiotics for the first time. In recent years, many internationally renowned breeders have used RopAdeno® for the first time with overwhelming success. So why use RopAdeno® in water troughs or racing pigeon transport vehicles? All pigeons carry pigeon loft-specific pathogens in the form of germs, bacteria or viruses. If many pigeons come together, as is the case with young pigeons, you will logically have many different pathogens directly in the drinking water after a short time, where the pathogens multiply vigorously and are then directly ingested by all other pigeons via the gastrointestinal tract. This problem has been known for some time and is referred to as “crowding” in technical jargon. RopAdeno® kills ALL these pathogens immediately and keeps your drinking troughs clean without being harmful to the pigeons. This means that the pathogens are no longer transmitted via the drinking water and cannot settle in the drinkers.
